Where there is no ambiguity about the fact that the hotel’s team are at their very best when engaging with the customer in a vibrant atmosphere of relaxation, fun, gay abandon and laughter. There is a palpable sense of fun, anticipation and expectation about the hotel which is almost infectious and this is why it is such a popular venue for celebrations, parties, stag and hen weekends, activity group holidays, small corporate events in Scotland where fun is an essential ingredient to success, and groups of golfers, sportsmen and sportswomen looking for that extra special oasis after a fulfilling, and oft challenging day – but not a sleep in front of the fire – not till later on anyway.

Rather a drink or two followed by a leisurely, informal meal with friends, auld acquaintances and new – and a nightcap or two until late. A great choice of facilities allows a number of different ‘experiences’ to be enjoyed – from a drink with the equally knowledgeable locals in the vibrant, lively ‘pub’ – to a quieter, more personal dram or two in our lounge bar. Plenty of open fires and great Scotch malts just add to the ‘Scottishness.’
